BMW M3 Coupe, with factory steel roof, which we will replace with a carbon one.
Sunroof, seats, interior trim and headlining all removed
Bonded front & rear screens, and roof rail trims removed, so the conversion can now begin.
Spot Welds for Roof Centre panel drilled out, and roof skin removed.
Our car, with a sunroof, lacked the centre support brace, so one of these needs to be welded into place.
Replacement Carbon Fibre Roof test fitted, prior to bonding.
Carbon Roof skin bonded into place.
Headlining replaced with a brand new one, that doesn’t have a sunroof hole
Vehicle fully reassembled & cleaned
1962 Lotus Elite, prepped and primed.
Masked and ready for paint
Complete shell painted in Lagoon Blue
High gloss clear coat applied
Remainder of car masked out for application of roof colour
Masking removed, and whole car re-lacquered
